The Devil's Dictionary

For this project, the purpose was to make a new conceptual interpretation of the book "The Devil's Dictionary", intervening graphically. The main purpose was to create an editorial to question the limits of graphic organization against the object. The irony, the sarcasm, criticism and a certain audacity, underline the surprising character of this book and motivate to produce the graphical intervention of this project.

The main concept for this project came from the phrase / saying "the spell turns against the sorcerer." Functioning almost as a game, the reader finds hidden words and letters in this book and they serve as a clue, these hidden tracks have the function of weakening the power of the Devil. His sarcasm at the end will be the way how he converts into an Angel, being the good side the winner of this game. For the graphical content of the project, I was influenced by the unreal world of fantasy and illusion, so the reader finds himself gradually entering the world of good. Sometimes, in the book, the reader will also have a 3D experience, thus reinforcing the idea of an unreal world of fantasy and illusion.
